A new TIF will increase State Municipal Revenue Sharing

On July 1st, 2021, Governor Mills signed into law that the State will restore full Municipal Revenue Sharing of 5%.

A new TIF District will increase Falmouth's State School Funding

On July 1st, 2021, Governor Mills signed into law that the State will Fund a full 55% of the State's obligation for K-12 Public Education.

TIF Districts reduce our contribution to County Taxes.

Falmouth is the fourth highest contributor to Cumberland County taxes behind Portland, South Portland and Scarborough, at $1.85 million.
